Congratulations to Sohum Lohia (above right) and Alex Golding, who both gained their third IM norm at the Southend Masters (part of the Southend Easter Chess Festival). They are both now able to apply for the IM title, and their applications should be approved at the next FIDE Council meeting (date still to be confirmed).
