ECF Awards 2022

The Committee have agreed the following eleven awards in seven categories which the ECF Board have ratified. All winners will be presented with an engraved glass trophy recognising their achievement and will, where appropriate, be entitled to use the winners logo.

No awards were made in the categories of Contribution to Online Chess and Accessible Chess. Next year we will ask for nominations to be made in a more standardised format. This will aid the evaluation and reporting structure.

Attached below are the citations made for the successful 2022 ECF award winners. This year has required a little more editing than normal for presentation to the Board. A number of the entries were very long and some have been edited down. All citations have been approved by the award winners. The Committee have discussed future publicity and ways to increase the number of award nominations in future years.
