WSCC Round 6 report

This entry is part 16 of 23 in the series WSCC 2013

– from Shilin Xu

It is another beautiful day in Halkidiki with fresh breezes and a comfortable temperature. After yesterday’s double rounds, the England team reverts to normal tempo. The regular coaching sessions are resumed and players can again find time to walk on the beach to make their minds more relaxed and get ready for the sixth round starting at 4:00pm.

It is a reasonably good day for the England team as well with 21 points out of possible 48. The first player out is Harrison Willmoth, who crushed his opponent within about thirty minutes. The U11 section of the team scored an excellent four wins and two draws out of eight games. Akito Oyama obtained another win to be within striking distance of the medal position. Unfortunately our excellent potential medal winners, Aditya Verma and Haolin Zhao, got tough games and both lost today.

Tomorrow will be round seven and the team is ready for another sortie to score more points. The twitter feed will be busy as usual with results, photos and useful shortcuts: @ECFWSCC2013
