Date: Sunday 23rd September 2012 at Eton College, Berks.
Venue: Eton College, Windsor SL4 6DW [MAP]. Play in Upper School, above the porter’s lodge; team rooms in Eton College Maths Department (New Schools).
Time: Registration from 10.15am (in New Schools), play starts at 11am, finishes about 5pm
Event Format: 6 round Swiss rapid play tournament. Chess clocks will be used in all games, 25 minutes for all moves. With digital clocks: all moves in 20 minutes + 10 sec/move. All games will be ECF graded.
Teams: Teams will consist of 6 players in school years 7 to 13. Schools can enter one or two teams. We have space for a maximum of 20 teams, allocated in order of application.
Cost: Free!
We will need some schools to bring chess equipment. Please let me know if you can. We are very grateful to Eton College for providing their facilities free of charge. We expect all teams to treat the buildings with respect, in particular leaving the team rooms in the condition they were in upon arrival. Please bring a packed lunch – tea and coffee will be provided.

Entries will be listed on the ECF junior website here. If your entry is not listed then it probably has not yet been received! Final details (parking etc) will be sent out by email a few days before the event. At that time your will also be asked to supply your planned team list, including players grades and dates of birth.
