The 2013 NCJS Championships were held at the Daventry Court Hotel over the weekend of 6th & 7th April. It is the first time the Squad have used a hotel and the reaction from the parents was very positive. We will certainly be looking to return next year so please look out for the 2014 [...]

4th – 7th April 2013, Rybnik, Poland Thirteen children from Manchester Junior Chess took part in an international chess match with children from Rybnik in Poland. The tournament was overseen by WGM Agnieszka Clement-Matras and her team from Szkola Podstawowa, a Polish School that is one of the leading centres for Junior Chess in Poland. [...] The third ECF Afternoon School Chess Tournament comprised a total of 20 teams with 4 players in each team.
